By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Tapor ("the App", "Tapor", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Tapor.

2. Description of Service

Tapor is a mobile application designed to help users manage and reduce nicotine use through timed sessions and structured reduction programs.

The App is a self-tracking tool and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Core Features (Free Version)

- Timer-based nicotine use tracking

- Scheduled wait periods and usage windows

- Local notifications

- Basic program settings

- Pause functionality

Premium Features

- Detailed statistics and progress tracking

- Historical session tracking

- Live Activities (Lock Screen and Dynamic Island)

- Advanced program customization features

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Premium features are offered through a recurring subscription. Pricing and billing terms are displayed in the App and may vary by region and applicable taxes.

All subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

Free Trials

- If a free trial is offered, you will have access to Premium features during the trial period

- You will not be charged until the trial ends

- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin

Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Managing Subscriptions

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings.

Refunds

All payments are handled by Apple. Refund requests must be made through Apple.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Tapor.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose.

You agree not to:

- Use the App for unlawful purposes

- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

- Interfere with or disrupt the App

- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data

- Use automated tools or bots to interact with the App

6. Health and Medical Disclaimer

Tapor is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

The App does not provide medical advice or personalized medical recommendations.

You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions related to nicotine use or cessation.

Results from using the App vary and are not guaranteed.

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or third-party marketing.

8. Intellectual Property

All content and functionality of the App are owned by Tapor or its licensors.

You are granted a limited license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use.

9. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services including Apple services and cloud infrastructure providers.

We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services.

10. Service Availability

We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

We may modify or discontinue features at any time.

11. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages or health-related outcomes.

Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

15. Apple App Store Requirements

These Terms are between you and Tapor, not Apple.

Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.

Apple is not responsible for addressing claims related to the App.

Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms.
