Tapor ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Tapor mobile application.

Data Storage

On Your Device

Most of your data (sessions, statistics, and settings) is stored locally on your device.

Cloud Storage

Limited data is temporarily processed on secure servers (Google Cloud Platform) to support notifications and Live Activities, including:

Current timer state

Timing information

Notification tokens

This data is automatically deleted within approximately 24–48 hours. We do not store long-term usage history on our servers.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

Provide core app functionality

Track your progress and display statistics

Send notifications and update Live Activities

Improve app performance and reliability

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not store or process payment information.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.

We only share limited information with:

Apple (for notifications and subscriptions)

Google Cloud (for notification scheduling and delivery)

We do not use your data for advertising or marketing.

Data Security

We use standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure platform features provided by iOS and our service providers.

Data Retention

Local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app

Server data is automatically deleted within approximately 48 hours

Your Rights

You can:

Delete your data within the app (reset stats)

Uninstall the app to remove all local data

Contact us with any privacy questions

International Transfers

Some data may be processed in the United States through our cloud provider. Appropriate safeguards are used to protect your data.

Children’s Privacy

Tapor is not intended for users under 13 years of age.

Notifications

Tapor uses notifications and Live Activities to:

Notify you when timers complete

Show current app status on your Lock Screen

You can disable notifications in your device settings.
